Beginning teachers! We are very happy to welcome our beginning teachers to their first day - not all of these faces are new to our district but they are all in their first year of teaching in their very own classrooms. Over the next few days these educators will be introduced to leaders of our district, listen to mentor teachers share their experiences and begin building their support system as they begin collaborating with each other.
Mr. Josh Gaskill, our Beginning Teacher Coordinator has done an amazing job putting together a dynamic schedule to get them started off on the right foot. One of today’s speakers was Ms. Stacy Nelson from Pamlico Primary School, last year’s Pamlico County Teacher of the Year.
