Students Recognized for Winning Poster Contest

Amanda Sawyer, Medical Surgical Educator of CarolinaEast, was on hand to award each student’s classroom a monetary award ranging from $250 to $500 and a copy of the winning artwork to display in their school.
 
The following students were recognized and are to be commended for their creativity and artistic abilities. From Pamlico County High School, Camryn Potter, won and her teacher, Lynn Hardison, was presented a $500 classroom award check.
 
Teacher Lauren Gaskill’s middle school student, Summer Sawyer, won for her artwork and a $500 classroom award was received for Ms. Gaskill.
 
From Fred A. Anderson Elementary School, Samuel Bailey won for his poster and his teacher, Ashlynne Peters, received a $500 classroom award.
 
Also from Fred A. Anderson Elementary School, Elliot Sampson received an honorable mention and her teacher, Kate Radcliff, received a $250 classroom award.
