Say Something Anonymous Reporting System

Pamlico County Schools is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS) to give students in grades 6–12 a secure and anonymous way to report serious safety concerns—anytime, anywhere.
If you see something that worries you, we encourage you to say something.
The system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and allows students to submit a tip in one of three ways:
-
📞 Call the 24/7 hotline at 1-844-5-SAYNOW
-
🌐 Visit the Say Something website
-
📱 Download and use the free mobile app from your app store
All tips are reviewed by a trained Crisis Center team. If a report is deemed credible and potentially life-threatening, school officials—and when necessary, 911 and local law enforcement—are immediately contacted to ensure timely intervention.
Together, we can help keep our schools safe.
About the Say Something
Anonymous Reporting System
The Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS) was created by Sandy Hook Promise. It is the only anonymous system with a National Crisis Center line exclusively serving schools. The system was designed to prevent shootings, bullying, self-harm and other forms of violence. The program offers students multiple ways to report any serious concerns about personal crises or school threats. There is a free mobile app, a website, and a phone number that connects to the National Crisis Center 24/7.
Additionally, the program teaches students to:
- Reach out to students showing signs of isolation or loneliness
- Recognize the signs and threats of at-risk behaviors
- Take every sign and signal seriously
- Reach out to a trusted adult for help or use the anonymous reporting tools
