She was presented with a certificate and a poinsettia from the school district. Ms. Blackmon has been serving Pamlico County Schools’ students since 2011.
EC Director Anita Boyd stated, “Ms. Blackmon does an outstanding job serving students at the middle school level. She currently serves as the Exceptional Children Team Leader at Pamlico County Middle School, provides instructional delivery to 6th grade students, serves as case manager for assigned students and facilitates Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings. Her organization and strong work ethic are exemplary which makes her the perfect selection to represent our district for this award. Ms. Blackmon goes above and beyond for her students on a daily basis and works well with school staff, administration and related service personnel.”
