Welcome to Pamlico County Schools!

Dear Friends,

It is my honor and privilege to serve as Superintendent of a school district that is deeply rooted in tradition, strengthened by community, and focused on the future. As a lifelong educator, parent, and proud member of this community, I believe Pamlico County is one of the very best places to live, work, raise a family, and receive an education.

In Pamlico County, we recognize that our schools are more than buildings where learning takes place. They are the heart of our community. Every day, our students, educators, staff, families, and community partners work together to create opportunities that help children grow academically, socially, and personally.

Our district is guided by the theme "Living the Legacy: Honoring Our Past. Building our Future." We are proud of the generations of students, educators, and community members who have helped shape our schools into what they are today. Their commitment, perseverance, and belief in the value of public education have created a strong foundation upon which we continue to build.

At the same time, we are focused on the future. Our mission is to prepare every student for success in a rapidly changing world by providing engaging learning experiences, developing durable skills, fostering strong character, and creating pathways that lead to college, careers, military service, and lifelong success. We are committed to ensuring that every student graduates with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue limitless opportunities.
