The mission of the Pamlico County Exceptional Children Department is to ensure that students with special needs achieve successful learning in all environments, through provision of an individualized education in the least restrictive environment. We are dedicated to providing an appropriate public education to students with disabilities using high quality, rigorous student-centered learning opportunities that will prepare our students with knowledge and expertise to become productive citizens.
