Pamlico County Schools serve students in grades Pre-K through 12.  With an enrollment of just under 1300 students, our schools are able to provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Our Community

Pamlico County is located in the center of eastern North Carolina. It is a peninsula surrounded by waters of the Neuse River and Pamlico Sound.

Pamlico County is a rural county comprised of 213,000 acres of land and 151,000 acres of water. The county's current population is approximately 13,000 and is slowly increasing.

Blessed with fresh air blowing off the rivers and bays, an abundance of natural recreational resources, good schools, good government, and a rich heritage, Pamlico County offers an excellent location to families seeking a home.
